RP6C Logo To help mark the 15th Anniversary of the club, we are holding a Charity Road Run in aid of the Katharine House Hospice, in Stafford, the charity which Angie our Chairman works for. We have planned the run in conjunction with the Federation’s “Drive It Day” on 20th April 2008. The run will start from the FOUR ASHES public house on the Stafford Road A449, Four Ashes, Wolverhampton and will end at the Hospice in Stafford. The run will kick off at 10.00am and take participants on a pre-planned route into the beautiful Shropshire countryside. If you want to just turn up on the morning please do be with us by 0930hrs for the briefing.

Holker Hall Run on the Classic Drive It Day

Start: 10:00

"Drive It Day" RP6C Holker Hall Road Run

We'll be meeting just at Charnock Richard services (M6 Nth bound) for 10 A.M. & drive up through the Lancashire countryside to Holker Hall which is in the South Lakes http://www.holker-hall.co.uk/. I've organised 2 previous trips to Holker Hall through my Lancia clubs, both of which turned out to be on wet days, 3rd time lucky??? The purpose of the visit is the Lakeland Motor Museum which has some fantastic memorabilia on display as well as cars, motorbikes & the Bluebird exhibition. Cost will be £7.75 per person & this includes access to the Hall, gardens and the motor museum. The event is open to ALL types of cars/clubs. Vauxhall Heritage Centre open on Drive It Day

Just in from Craig at the Vauxhall Heritage Centre at Vauxhall's head office in Luton.

We are opening up the Vauxhall Heritage Centre on Drive it Day as a venue for people to visit and I'll be there all day - if not with my P6 I'll certainly bring either my Mini or my Land Rover S3.
