RP6C National Rally 2008.

VAC Vintage and Classic day at Turweston  

We have selected this large event again because it has been very successful and popular in previous years and its in a great central location.

The location is an airfield is situated 2.5 miles east of Brackley, Northamptonshire, near to Silverstone and can be accessed from the A43 just north of the first Brackley exit and is clearly signposted to Turweston Airfield and Whitfield village.

There is easy access from both the M1 & the M40 motorways..

We will be running various competitions and there will be trophies for the furthest travelled to the event and Members Favourite P6. There is also a trophy for ‘the best P6 at the rally' which follows the ethos of the clubs aims. There is also the Lesley Dunning Cup for the ladies choice of their favourite P6.

We will also be re-running the driving competition as part of the event as this was such a well favoured part of the whole event and really was great fun

There is also a vehicle parade at 1300hrs, organised by the VAC.

This event draws vintage & classic cars, coaches, commercials, bikes, military vehicles and if weather permit’s a good selection of aircraft so it is well worth a visit. The gates are open from 0930 hrs and entry is £5.00 per car payable to RP6C in advance. Please return your completed entry form to the Club Address, marked for The National Rally and remember to enclose an SAE.

Our National Rally will be part of an gathering of owners and enthusiasts for all things mechanical and will include vintage and classic motor cycles, cars, military vehicles, tractors, commercial vehicles and if the weather permits a good selection of aircraft.

The gates open about 09:30 with a parade of vehicles around 13:00.
