Went to pick up our car today but further problems hilighted, firstly and not too much of a problem a water leak has developed in the return side of the radiator, but more of a problem is that the garage is still not happy with the way the car runs.

ignition timing initialy set to manufactorers spec(8deg) but has had to be advanced to 6 so as to stop pinking, also the coil that was fitted last year appears to have the same problem getting very hot. It was found that the pos/neg cables were the wrong way round but this did not make any difference, also the the fuel economy is very bad (45 miles on £20spent). the coil has been checked to make sure that the voltage is correct and a 7Volt was found and c/o level at 4 deg

I hope to get the car back later this week so out will come the faithfull color tune and also the gunsun meter so that I can get the static timing checked which I have had much better success with in the past.
