The RP6C Club stand display was the focal point for a meeting of members of the Classic Rover Forum at 12.30 on sunday for a natter of like minded P6 enthusiasts

Rover 2000SC enigine converted to TC during the show The display of two cars and an engine did actually manage to promote some work in between nattering and all tasks were achieved. The Mexico Brown 2000 Auto of RP6C Member Phil, had a new exhaust fitted along with a new brake master cylinder and new rear road springs. The car was also had moped and polished ready for the NEC in November. The General (2000TC) was the oter car on display and this had the front suspension painted, which finished off a job started a couple of shows ago when he was on his side for the whole underside to be cleaned, primed and painted. The third task was the conversion of a 2000SC engine to a 2000TC. This was done ready in preparation of the rebuild of Member Georges Arden Green 2000TC in the new year. The 15 strong resto team made light work of all the tasks and are to commended, while a very special thank you goes out to Clive and Maurice of MH Annable & Son, for sharing their expertise and expereince and for supplying the valve shims to rebuild the engine. Well done one and all.
