It has come to our attention that bogus buyers from abroad (usually Nigeria) who appear to want to buy the car at full price and send an additional sum for shipping.

This appears to be a scam as the persons try to ask the seller to send them money back on reciept of a cheque from them. The cheques are apparently worthless and it is possible an unwary person could give in to pressure and lose a lot of money.

Be advised, be safe and don't deal with these people. The matter is already in the hands of Barclays Bank fraud investigators.
