RP6C logo The Rover P6 Club had our biggest ever club display at the 2007 NEC Classic Motor Show held over the three days in November from the 9th to the 11th. We were in Hall 3 on Stand number 3C10. more details

Last year we had 6 cars on the display which included Les and Vals Herts Police 3500S, along with the first and last 3500S. There was also Mark Matey's 'Barn Find' and Simon Hills beautifully restored 'Wedgie' and finally not forgetting the restoration car, which showed everyone all the rusty bits!!

We had loads of visitors to the display and they were all shown just how good a P6 is as a classic car and how easy it is to maintain on a budget, thanks to help and assistance from the club and its members. The RP6C also promotes our beloved P6's to the next generation of enthusiasts by firstly getting them to sit behind the wheel,   Our Chairman shows two youngster all the controls on a P6 

and secondly by showing them how to fix them when they go wrong Young restorers master class

Plus also the RP6C was involved with the Classic Car Clinic which was hosted by Mark Evans and Mike Brewer by supplying Les and Val's Hants Police car on Friday and Dixon and Janice's family 2200TC on Saturday and Sunday.

Special guests to last years display included, the prototype Corgi Vanguard model of VVC 700S, the last P6 off the P6 production line

and also friends from the Rover Club of Sweden, seen here presenting the RP6C with a momento of their visit

And finally don't forget to come and see the RP6C display at the 2007 Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham, we will be on stand number 3C10 in Hall 3.

The theme set by the NEC organisers for this year event is 'FIRSTS and LASTS'. All suggestions welcomed.
