Steve Benyon, RP6C Branch Meeting Co-Ordinator, has long been planning a Monthly Manchester meet, and is now ready to launch having found a suitable venue.

Starting Friday 9th December at 7.30pm at Meeting Room 4, The Premier Inn, Runger Lane, Wilmslow Road, Manchester Airport, M90 5DL.

There is a Bar/Restaurant on site, and Steve will be running a quiz (with prizes) on the first night.

P6ers at the Case is Altered Harrow/North West London Branch

The next get-together of the Harrow/North West London, South Herts and Bucks Regional Group of the Rover P6 Club is at 8pm at the Case is Altered on Tuesday 13 September. Do come along for 8pm (or come early and eat at the pub first!). Anyone is welcome whether they belong to the Club, another Classic Car Club or no Club at all. This is the last of our summer evening get-togethers and we are expecting a great turnout including that wonderful green estate. All P6s and older Rovers welcome. At the last get-together we had 15 cars.

We meet at the Case is Altered on the second Tuesday of every odd Month. If you cannot make it this time make sure you do not miss out on the fun in the future by putting us in for the second Tuesday of each odd month in your new 2011 diary now.

Location: About 15 minutes from the M1, M25 AND M40 The Case is Altered is on the B466 out of Pinner Green. Coming from Hatch End you follow the A404 Uxbridge Road to the traffic lights at Pinner Green. Turn left at these lights towards Pinner. After a couple of hundred yards turn right into West End Lane. After about 300 yards turn fight into High View. At the end of High View turn left into Cuckoo Hill (B466) which becomes Eastcote High Road (B466). You will see the pub on your right about 2 minutes drive after turning into the B466. It is set back from the road immediately before Southill Lane.

We were sorry to hear today that our Canadian member Eric Russell has passed away. Eric is well known to many in the Rover world and especially on Rovernet. He will be missed. Our condolences go out to his wife and family at this very sad time.
