2000 auto box is jerky

Hi
I am currently a member (****) and love the magazine. I do feel however that
my trusty Rover's autobox is a little jerky and does restrict MPG on my
2000. Do you know of any auto box conversions that would give me a smoother
ride and better fuel economy? I don't mind modern parts - it's just modern
cars I have issues with.

Hi all

I have just purchased a 1972 3500 auto and it has no forward gears!!

So i think the box needs replacing,so my question is what is the best way to remove and refit the box?

Hi. Does anyone know of a good recon gearbox specialist in the essex area as i have lost the third and reverse gear. I have visited my local garage and they have quoted me £700 to replace and fit a reconditioned unit. I have considered buying one off ebay but i could end up with one as bad as my own so any advice would be much appreciated.
